Every mover on our trucks is a W-2 employee of this company. We don’t post your job to a board and let whoever bites handle your grandmother’s china. We hire, train, and stand behind our own crew, and we’ve been doing it out of our Howell Mill Road shop since 2008.
How We Hire
Bringing someone onto the crew here is a real process. Every mover goes through a background check before they ever set foot in a customer’s home, and our drivers carry current DOT medical certification — non-negotiable, because they’re operating our trucks on the Connector and out on I-75 in real traffic. New hires don’t get thrown on a truck solo; they learn the job alongside a crew chief until they’ve proven they can pad a banister, navigate a tight Midtown elevator, and treat a stranger’s belongings like their own. We’d rather staff up slowly with the right people than churn through a roster of day labor.
Insured Work, In-House Claims
We carry $1,000,000 in cargo and liability coverage, and because we’re the actual moving company and not a broker passing you off, claims are handled in-house. On the rare occasion something goes sideways, you call us — not a 1-800 number for a carrier you’ve never spoken to. We own the problem because we own the move.
Meet the Team
We’re around fourteen people: office staff, two crew chiefs, and roughly eight W-2 movers who do the heavy lifting.
- Marcus Whitfield — Owner. Founded the company in 2008 after nine years dispatching across metro Atlanta. Still sets the standard for how every job runs.
- Andre Bell — Crew Chief, Local Moves. Atlanta born and raised, Andre runs our metro jobs and knows the access quirks of just about every neighborhood inside the Perimeter.
- Derek — Crew Chief, Interstate. Derek leads our long-distance runs out to Nashville, Charlotte, Birmingham, and Orlando — same crew loads you here and unloads you there.
- Jenna — Estimates & Quotes. Jenna walks you through your inventory and builds your flat-rate quote so there are no surprises at the curb.
- Krista — Dispatch. Krista coordinates the trucks and crews so the right team is at your door on time, every time.
